A better way

I sit here
reflecting on
some recent
adverse situations.

In each case
people have acted
in what appeared
to be against
my interests.

When I realised that
this was the case
I stood up
and made a point.

In acting this way,
the person concerned
was made aware
of my displeasure.

To my discredit,
my actions
were with some malice
and disrespect.
