Open your heart

Many things
happen to us
in our lives.

In our effort
to handle these situations,
we can experience
enormous highs and lows.

The highs
brim us
with confidence
and happiness.

The lows
plummet us
to oblivion
and despair.

Each and every event
has some effect,
be it small
or substantial.
