Sometimes it is better to listen

We have all met someone
in our lives,
whom we find it
easy and natural
to talk to.

We talk so much,
and so enthusiastically,
that we never shut up.

Yet, in all our exuberance
we forget one thing,
the opportunity for that person
to speak.

I have met someone
whom I find it so natural to talk to.
The words flow so easily
that I am like a kid in a candy store.
