Waiting

Have you ever waited
in a queue
and wondered
why you are there?
Do you like waiting
at traffic lights?

Have you ever felt
the uncertainty
or insecurity
while you wait
for a letter
from that special someone?

What about
the eager sense
of anticipation
when you know
something wonderful
is about to happen?

When we are waiting
for something
or someone
different emotions arise.
Is it a test
or just life?
